The gameplay within Wasteland alternates between 3-D lands that task Mickey with using magic paint and thinner to create paths and brush off baddies and 2-D levels modeled after bygone cartoons, such as "Steamboat Willie." Throughout his quest to stop the evil Phantom Blot, Mickey is presented with moral dilemmas that will affect the game's outcome. In the game, the rabbit serves as the warden of Wasteland, a warped version of Disneyland populated with forgotten characters and twisted theme park attractions that Mickey must navigate. The only item inside that I was excited about was the Star Wars comic published by IDW. The Destiny 2 t-shirt was okay, but for a game with such stunning sci-fi visuals and environments I have to say I was pretty underwhelmed by the chosen shirt design. I don’t know anyone who owns a smartphone and uses a traditional calendar in place of that. 2 I can’t say I care an ounce about a calendar. While I love Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. Either way, I’d expect some sort of quality control in place to catch this type of thing. This tells me that either the manufacturer messed it up, or one of the folks at Loot Crate did. Out of the box, the Robotech LED light was damaged, even though it was shipped in a secure package. I’m sad to say those expectations didn’t even come close to being met. With this being the last Loot Crate of the year during the holiday season and The Last Jedi coming out this month, I had really high expectations for this Loot Crate. For the price of a t-shirt you’ll get a box of goodies that come in all sorts of themes and gimmicks. Shipping woes aside, the bang is typically very much worth the buck.
